This artwork is an original abstract style landscape painting. I have used Acrylic paint, oil stick and artist markers which I like to merge these mediums creating contrasting textures and organic patterns that harmoniously weave together like a tapestry. For this mini creation I wanted to use an earthy colour scheme as I have been inspired by memories of past travels that included visiting the countryside of the ever so beautiful Italy. ‘Dreamt land’ evokes a terrain where the earth hums softly with rhythmic gentle patterns suggests movement and growth.
