This botanical still life artwork was inspired by dried native flowers I’ve collected over the years in my studio. It was painted as part of the ‘Quiet Moments’ collection – a series of paintings which focused on flower studies painted within small pockets of quiet moments after I returned from maternity leave.

“This study was one of the first artworks created in the new studio. The energy in the work is softer and more subdued than my other works. I think my uncertainty and contemplative mood filtered through – as I reacquainted myself with my paints and floral shapes.”
