This piece was inspired by my beautiful daughter Isabella who endlessly picks flowers, she particularly loves roses and pulls the petals off and places them in buckets to make perfume 🙂

Hand painted on a round stretched canvas it has heavily textured impasto Rose petals painted with several layers of washes shades of soft dusty plum and rose, and gold leaf details to finish.

The edge of the canvas has been painted black and it has been finished with gloss varnish and is ready to hang.
