Additional Information

Early Spring Morning: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

This original painting continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint. The work was created using Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, in fact anything except brushes.

The artwork is a Large Statement piece and will give maximum impact to any room. This artworks colour palette was inspired by recent autumn skies and is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways and other weathered surfaces.

This piece is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on a stretched canvas and is ready to hang. The burgundy undercoat was wrapped around the edges of the canvas finishing off the work.
