As the artist, I want to point out that my artwork tends to have a greater impact in person than what you see on a screen. Different screens can show varying colours, brightness, and contrast. I always photograph my paintings in natural light and take great care to ensure that the photos reflect the true appearance of the artwork to the best of my ability. Also with many of my artworks the canvas and my techniques create different textures! …adding another element of interest.
