Eastern Yellow Robin by Clare Riddington Jones –

One day when I was having a picnic this beautiful robin just perched on a branch nearby and posed for me. I captured some wonderful photographs and decided to do an impressionist painting of the lovely little bird. This piece is on a circular timber art panel and was done with a palette knife. The colours are bright and cheerful and there is a great deal of texture to the artwork. It would make a very cheerful statement on any wall. Finished with three coats of Archival Varnish.
