This square acrylic painting evolved by a process of elimination.   Sue used leftover paint to colour the white canvas in patches.  She eliminated areas and created shapes with white paint, making the centre of the canvas her focal point.  She outlined various elements with darker shades of colour and generally built up the composition into foliage, birds and berries, etc.      Then Sue painted over the white areas in a pearly white.

The canvas has been sealed with a satin varnish, and it is wired and ready to hang.   Sue has signed the painting on the back and the edges are painted black.
