Additional Information

I feel as though ‘Eden’ has evolved from my subconscious in so many ways. I found a flow in creating this artwork that I have not experienced before. I was completely engrossed in the process and although it was time consuming, the end result was well worth it. In this work, I wanted to create a character of nature and beauty and incorporate my love of birds, pattern and vibrant colour. Eden’s eye draws the viewer in to explore the intricate detail in the rest of the work. I enjoyed incorporating portraiture into this piece and look forward to exploring it again in the near future.
