This is a multi-directional artwork designed to evoke nature’s raw beauty from any angle.

Crafted using intensely pigmented coloured inks and mixed mediums, this work represents the powerful reactions between materials, forming natural reef-like patterns. The chemistry between these pigments—some attracting, others repelling—mimics the chaotic harmony of the ocean floor.

In addition to traditional tools, I use my hands, air guns, rods, a blow torch, and gravity. I “sculpt” my paintings starting with a board upon which I layer various materials, allowing organic formations to emerge. This piece is heavily inspired by the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, near where I’m lucky enough to live and create.
