Engagement at Avalon by Estelle Asmodelle – Avalon is a mythical island featured in the Arthurian legend and the place of magic where King Arthur’s sword Excalibur was made. Slipping back into Old English legend allows our emotions to run wild with possibilities. Painting in the style of Abstract Expressionism.

This work is painted on professional-grade canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is 198.1 cm in width by 198.1 cm in height. The painting is larger than this to allow for a colour wrap, so that the sides are painted in the same manner as the surface. Therefore no frame is required.
