Ephemeral Grace -Tulips with their delicate curly leaves are such a beautiful flower and always evoke thoughts of Amsterdam, however the tulip emerged first from the Himalaya area and then from Turkey as early at 1000AD and was first a wildflower. As a study close up, the detail in the petals are stunning and creates a wonderful abstraction of the flower. Always inspired by the life cycle of flowers, every stage represents its own beauty.
