Equivocal by Treena Seymour –

Drawing influence from my personal journey of late, this piece is Contemporary, bold, yet balanced, with suggestions of “colour” giving warmth to an otherwise monochrome palette.

Bold brush strokes define decisiveness and clear direction whilst the fine lines running helter skelter indicate much confusion and self doubt. Fully loaded with texture to add extra visual stimulation.

“Equivocal” is open to differing interpretations as many abstracts are. What one person “sees” in the painting can be totally interpreted in a very different way by someone else viewing the same piece.

This is truly a statement piece suited for the contemporary interiors of today whether it be living area, foyer or bedroom.

Specifications: Quality acrylics graphite and charcoal used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang portrait or landscape.
