Who doesn’t love a day by the beach. The naustalgic symbolism of gliding seagulls and shell horizones collectively connotate ones experiences at the seaside. Newcaslte Baths NSW has historic structures of rusted safety chains that surround the ocean pool. These structures add texture in the foreground, warmth and visual interest. The five types of water in the landscape: the shallow waters and the reflective surface (on the right), the rippley waves of the pool (left), the splashing whitewash in the middleground and deep ocean in the background are represented naturally in the landscape but are also reminders of our own personal emotional depths and reflections. The symbolic metaphor here is to know ones self and find statisfaction. This is the Escape from society expectations, you do not need to be perfect.
