Eucalypt Autumn Haze by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint & acrylic ink on stretched canvas.

My unique intuitive base was created by applying layers of paint, ink and markings followed by negative space painting to create my eucalyptus foliage (using a few little branches I collected on a recent morning walk for inspiration).

The rich velvety background developed over layers, allowing her pleasing leaf details to pop with interest…drawing the eye in for a close look. Her rich background colours have been taken around canvas edges.

Signed on the back and accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
