Neo Pop Painting in Box Frame

Childhood fantasies of future technology, Robots and Astro Boy Cartoons, collide with the soul crushing reality of 2023

Lets boldly march forward, phone in hand, agreeing to all T’s & C’s…

This mix media artwork continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint over paper. Recycled paper was glued down to canvas then the paint was applied with Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, & stencils.

The artwork is a statement Neo Pop piece and will give maximum impact to any room.

My art is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces & is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.
