‘Exposure therapy’ by Fern Siebler

My goal with this artwork is to channel the triggers and emotions associated with anxiety and fear based thoughts to help process them, into something beautiful. Exposure therapy is said to help build coping mechanisms and behaviours associated with trauma, for some people. In this piece I bring something to calm the mind, speckled with metallic golds that represent glimmers of light and joy and hope.
