Exquisite roses, bright and cheerful by Uma Barry – Hi everyone, this painting consists of items that are again very dear to me. These yellow roses in a glass jar resting on this lovely red scarf gave me a nice vibe to put on canvas. I love the thought of my dear Mum’s red scarf peering through the glass against the teal background, giving it a special lift it needed. It was also fascinating incorporating light into this piece.
