Extra Large Wall Art “Seclusion”is a 3 dimensional, aerial view of the Ocean, the tile tells the story of this place.

As the title suggests, a place private and away from other people. Created in my coastal studio, around 15 nautical miles from the Great Barrier Reef, from which this work is derived.

Detailed with top quality pigment oil pastels, and intense pigmented colored inks for maximum vibrancy and quality. Signature is on the side of the right painting. Multi directional work. Two 204 x 102 cm Wooden panels.

This work represents the effects of reactions between mixed mediums. The power of the chemistry between these pigments carried by different mediums, attracting or repelling each other resulting in ocean and reef like formations. In addition to paint brushes, I use my hands, air guns, rods, blow torch, and gravity. Typically working in large formats, I “sculpt” my paintings, starting with a board upon which I layer various materials.
