Fair Fun by Sue Hill

This mixed media painting is naïve in style and is a wide but narrow landscape of an imaginary fair with colorful striped tents, fair rides such as a ferris wheel, dodgem cars and roller coaster, and people. Trees and distant buildings are in the background.

Sue started by applying tissue paper to the canvas with glue before using acrylic to paint this lively scene, thus breaking up the painting surface. She finalised the scene with several coats of satin varnish.

The sides are painted black and it signed on the back, wired and ready to hang.
