Fairy Child by Trisha Lambi – This is a portrait of my daughter – we often do photo shoots for my paintings and she is not what you’d call a willing participant! However every now and again I manage to capture her off guard and this is one of those moments. I love the look in her eye, and the innocence and trust I see there – the last vestige of her girlhood. The addition of the flowers add to the whimsy and nostalgia, creating an image out of a fairy tale.
