Over the years I have found that water has a calming effect on me. Water was also the first subject that I enjoyed photographing. I found out by accident when I realised all my favourite photographs had water in the photograph.
Falling Water is the second water photograph that I was happy with. It is an abstract photograph of a waterfall in Alaska. To complete this as an artwork, I felt a surreal interpretation would help give Falling Water a calmer but dynamic feel to the artwork.
Falling Water is part of the Water Related series and is a companion piece to Water Smash.

The artwork is printed on Chromaluxe premium metal for a contemporary look and feel. John feels that the medium best suits his artworks. The artwork is backed by a floating hanger system. This allows the artwork appears to float off the wall.
