Family Trees by Doodie Herman – Exploring different colour palettes to express the endless fascination I have with tree and rock in the Australian landscape. This was painted almost entirely with a credit card used to apply paint across the surface, with a series of glazes making variation in tone and colour. I wanted to make very straight, angular forms for the trees.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing. Finished with two coats of varnish for surface protection.
