Fan Palm Moment I by Smith & Brooks is a limited edition print of the original artwork from the collection, ‘Lush Surrounds’.

The fan palm or licuala ramsayi features huge segmented, pleated, circular leaves that form a crucial part of the sub-canopy in rainforest areas. Having grown up in and around Cairns, Kerrin was surrounded by this unique rainforest backdrop as a young child.

Using a colour palette inspired by the tropical coastline ‘Fan Palm Moment I’ forms part of a series along with ‘Native Monstera Moment I’ and ‘Fan Palm Moment II’ which incorporate smooth river stones and water reflections. When hung in sequence these works become an ode to the meandering creeks and riverways of Far North Queensland.

Each product comes printed with our signature mark on the front and is individually numbered on the back.

Limited edition 100 on high quality 310gsm Hahnemühle Natural Line, Agave Fine Art paper. Each comes with an extra white border for ease of handling for your framer. Made up of 70% agave, this fine art paper is created with less environmental impact than traditional fine art papers.

Also available ready to hang on stretched canvas. Optional float frame available in sustainable sourced oak or matte black timber. All canvas prints are made to order so please allow 4 weeks for dispatch of your order.
