Patterned butterflies add focus and depth to the whimsical nature of this painting. The 2 white arch sections add some grounding and solidity to the painting and connect to the probably white wall it will be hung on.
I wanted to be uninhibited with my use of colour and fun in this stylistic and fanciful work.
