The customer requested two new artworks to match one they purchased in 2019. It was an absolute delight to revisit this series. Loose and expressive best describes the result. The longer I spend painting, the less I think about what my hands are doing and the more intuitive the process becomes. My graphic design training always comes in to play, as I subconsciously create balanced compositions. Sometimes less definitely is more and I worked purposely with a limited colour palette on this artwork.
