Fire Bowl by Carol Forster

This piece reflects my ongoing experimentation with ceramic surfaces and textures to evoke a feeling of landscape.

The form has been wheelthrown with hand applied additions.  To create the interior design, I have employed the use of tape and an air brush before applying hand painted embellishments. The piece has been finished with a gloss glaze and the exterior spikes have been painted with an 8-carat gold lustre.

River Bowl is an original ceramic sculptural Bowl.
