Flamingo Disco 2000 by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

This original diptych painting continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint. The work was created using Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, in fact anything except brushes.

The work is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces.

This diptych was created to give maximum impact to any room but also has subtle textures and layers. The work has a subtle flow between the two canvases and can be hung together as one large work or separated with a gap to fill a larger wall, Insitu examples are not to scale

The works comes on a stretched canvases and are ready to hang.
