This artwork is an expressive action painting , where I allow the artwork to emerge and tell me a story. There is no pressure nor expectation of what it becomes. I really just let go and enjoy the process of applying colour and of painting. This is number 2 of 2 paintings created side by side so they could be hung together as a diptych.

Flowers are always an endless source of joy and inspiration to me I enjoy exploring and responding to them through colour and design. The florals in these paintings are based loosely on hydrangeas and roses.
