Hi everyone, I am sharing this piece titled ‘For Love and Passion’ in oils which features a bloom from my own home collection. This Dark Desire rose is one of my true favorites. I’m endlessly captivated by it’s depth, the velvety moody reds and the intoxicating strength of it’s fragrance. Painting this rose felt deeply personal. It reminded me so much of my dearest mum, who had a profound love and appreciation for roses. That connection fuels my passion and motivation as an artist. Every brushstroke in this work carries her memories and reflects the love that continues to inspire my creative journey.
