Additional Information

Foraging Birds by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint and acrylic ink on 300gsm paper.  Signed on the front.

To start this piece I created one of my multie layered intuitive bases to develop into a rustic, very organic look and feel, painted abstract garden for my splendid fairywren’s (also known as the splendid wren or more colloquially, in Western Australia, as the blue wren) to forage in.

Negative painting technique used to create my bird silhouettes along with much of my leafy branch details.

Foraging Birds is rich in colour, layered details, depth and texture.

This unique piece requires framing to hang therefore my artwork gallery includes examples of how Foraging Birds could look framed and displayed.

As always, please check dimensions as in situ images for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
