Godzilla Hack: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Godzilla action scene created over original 1970’s vintage painting.

This original Artwork is a fun update on a vintage painted harbour image we have all seen, the original artwork was created on board and set in a timber vintage frame.

I loved this work when i seen it in a vintage store, but felt it could definitely be improved on lol, so the work was altered to add a monster which I hand painted into the harbour scene.

Hand cut helicopter stencils were created with the images spray painted into the sky to create a sense of drama to the artwork, overall creating a cheeky updated work of art.

This artwork is a fun Statement Piece with a Street Art style, that would create maximum impact to any room..

The work comes in its original vintage timber frame which was cleaned up, but all the bumps and original scuff marks remain keeping it in its authentic vintage state. The only addition was metal corner brackets were added to the back of the frame, to ensure that the frame is sturdy and would never fall apart with age..

This painting has wire attached at the back and is ready to hang.
