Forest Quartet by Carol Forster

Handmade in fine white porcelain and stoneware clays, this small-scale sculpture reflects my sense of fun. It also reminds me of my many walks through the forests where I live and the importance of preserving our natural world for future generations to explore and enjoy. On these forest walks I often tune into the various birds singing away as if they are part of a chorus. The making process involves the individual assembly of many different moulded leaves to create the form.
