I don’t know about you but I love being out in storms, standing out in the wind, hair blowing all over the place, but feeling light and fresh and having a sense of freedom, there’s also those memory of Christmas time in Australia in which, as a child, I always remember the storms rolling in and the smell of cool rain mingling with the warm soil around us cooling everything down.

This painting has a warm backdrop of orange, as if the warmth of sunshine is just behind the stormy clouds just waiting to burst through, just like life I think.
