From the Sea – Seascape by Anne Strambi

This original oil painting was inspired by one of my favourite beaches, Convent Beach, Yamba, where the waves are gentle and you feel enclosed by the headland and fringing pandanus trees. I wanted it to feel as though the viewer was in the water, swimming or floating, and enjoying the quietness of nature and the ocean. I have used both brushes and palette knife for the headland and water to achieve a painterly effect.
The painting is ready to hang with a cord on the back and sides painted, however if desired it would look good in a custom frame.
