Frosty Day by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint, spray paint and acrylic ink on 300gsm paper.

With thoughts of nature after collecting some broken leafy branches on a recent walk I started to create two intuitive layered bases using a limited, but similar, colour palette on both.  Working simultaneously with greys, white and pinks until I decided to work with only grey and white…all pink areas vanishing under earlier layers. A frosty, visual delight which would add a little drama and a touch of elegance n to any decor.

[For those that may be interested, I used the same colour palette when I created You Turn My Grey Skies Blue (listed separately), keeping the pink but adding a touch of pale blue.]

Signed on the front.

My artwork gallery in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.

Please note that dimensions of this artwork include a rough .5 cm border which can be covered during your chosen framing method or left exposed for a more organic look and feel.
