Fuelled by nature by Sibylle Zinnocker

Influenced by the art challenge ’31 days of creativity’ where I made a painting each day in January and discovered how liberating it is for me to work quickly. My painting process is intuitive and once I put the brush to canvas/paper I stop thinking and simply respond to what is happening.
However my thinking mind comes back in as soon as I stop and often there can be the threat of overworking a painting.
This one was painted all in one sitting from start to finish which allowed the colours to blend and flow and it definitely carries a certain energy. I also used a doily to print the subtle marks in burnt umber. Inspired by nature and meant to bring some a calm and relaxing atmosphere into your home.

This is an original artwork, varnished for protection and sides are painted in white. My work is usually unframed so the buyer can chose their style of framing and orientation as this is often a very personal choice.
