This painting explores the power and strength and beauty of sisterhood. Galajan is the skin name given to my daughter by her best friends family when they visited from Gulin Gulin on the fringes of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.

This painting was inspired by these two amazing young women and their beautiful, simple, free spirited friendship.
