Gentle Breath by Debra Duffy

This artwork is an abstract original using the contrasting textures of acrylic paint and artist markers. My inspiration comes from living on the doorstep to the Blue Mountains NSW and being surrounded by enchanting wooded forests filled with natures best. ‘Gentle Breath’ is part of my gum leaves and blossoms study, where I aim combine elements of natural beauty with a touch of whimsy and capturing not just the visual beauty, but the feeling of being immersed- surrounded by layered textures, subtle movements and patterns that highlight the organic and raw beauty of gum trees filled with trailing gum leaves and native blossoms. My aim was to use a very soft and tranquil colour palette with a focus on the veil of green with soft patterns to invite pause, breath and wander within natures canopy.  This authentic creation was made with love, thankyou for visiting x

This artwork consists of cotton canvas with sides painted and it is varnished for protection. Signature is on the back and front and also includes a certificate of authenticity.
