This artwork is a botanical creation that the inspiration comes from living on the doorstep to the Blue Mountains NSW and being surrounded by with natures best. ‘Gentle Breeze ‘ is part of my gum leaves and blossoms study, where I aim combine elements of natural beauty with a touch of whimsy and capturing not just the visual beauty, but the feeling of being immersed- surrounded by layered textures, subtle movements and patterns that highlight the organic and raw beauty of gum trees filled with trailing leaves and native blossoms. This botanical artwork features beautiful hues of a light cobalt turquoise coloured background that is submersed in soft patterns that work in harmony with the earthy golden ochre, greens, soft pink and white colour palette.
