Artist Statement: This painting reimagines the gum trees of the Mallee as vivid spirits — flickering between memory and dream.
Their forms dissolve into bold colour and gesture, echoing the way landscape blurs with emotion.
Tree Dreams is a celebration of place, both seen and sensed, where silence hums with life.

This is a once off original artwork that won’t be made available for reproduction printing at any time. I don’t do reproduction prints as they have no value themselves and lower the value of the original work which is not fair to the buyer of that work.

This work is oil and acrylic on 40 X 122 cm on Luca Premium Professional Canvas, stretched onto a kiln dried frame, wired ready to hang, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

This work is sealed with a Conservationist Varnish. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth, if you need to, which will preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t yellow or crack with age and will preserve your painting for posterity.

This work is sent without an exterior frame (images are to give an idea of what it would look like with an exterior frame). The work is painted on the sides (as seen in image) so that if you decide to hang it as it is without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle. No ugly white sides. If adding a frame I suggest matching your home rather than the painting ie if you have a lot of timber use a timber frame etc.
I try to give an accurate example of the size of the work insitu but these are examples only and do not replicate your own space so –
