Gibber by artist Stephanie Laine is a large, earthy painting capturing the textures of nature. I love to bring the outside in by creating textures that mimic the beautiful, earthy surface of rocks and stones. I also hope to capture a sense of nature in the overall flow of the artwork to bring a feeling of calm and presence to a space.
The colours in Gibber are charcoal, greys, browns, beige and cream. There’s also a touch of steel blue grey which contrasts beautifully with the earthy tones.
