Gloss Tulips by Lucinda Leveille is a watercolour piece influenced in a slightly different style than I am currently working – the gentle tulip is the inspiration .

“Here are the tulips, budded and full blown, their swoops and dips, their gloss and poses, the satin of their darks” Margaret Atwood.

This piece is quite precise with the brush, but sometimes its rather pleasant to just sit and paint details. I love this combination of colours – aquas and pinks in slight colour shift tones against the rich dark granulating mineral blues. This piece comes already framed in a white box frame and matt.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Only artist quality materials are used to produce these artworks.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can! ), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
