“Go on! Have One.” by Yianni Johns

Warning Nudity, This oil on canvas is all about having fun with art. Developed in a life drawing group I ran for 12 years at Gosford Regional Gallery. This painting started there, at the end of the session we would all meet up at a local pub and talk art and drink and enjoy each other’s stories. What gave me the final concept for this painting was the beautiful model when she suggested we go to the local McDonalds store instead of the pub. When we unanimously said no the model turned around and said, reference to the hamburgers. “Go on! Have one, it won’t kill you.” So I paid her for the night of modelling and she rushed off to the hamburger place, got one ate it and was at the pub in the beer garden by the time I had locked the gallery and got there myself.
