Megan Ziems is a fashion designer and the entrepreneurial founder of ‘Grace Loves Lace’, a company which specialises in creating beautifully elegant, unique and sophisticated designs in fine European lace and silk – designs that are redefining the bridal wear industry. Her influential and inspiring designs are empowering a new generation of women, by augmenting their natural beauty and celebrating their curves and femininity.

Gold Coast’s young entrepreneur of the year in 2017, and winner of ‘Product Excellence’ by The Australian Brand Awards the same year, Megan strives for a timeless quality. Her authentic designs are proudly Australian made and favoured by our very own Margot Robbie as well as international celebrities such as Rose McGowen, Millie Macintosh and Audrina Partridge.

With her growing popularity, she now has showrooms in LA, London and New York.

In this painting I wanted to capture her essence and her strength, as a private woman immersed in the fabric used for her incredible creations.
