Personally, I love the rose for its beautiful form and delicious sweet scents. When painting these magnificent blooms, memories of my mothers garden flood in recalling her many

varieties from the common rock rose to the very old fashioned roses. When the warm Summer sun shone in her garden, the scents of these roses was so strong and always was welcome when playing outside in the garden.

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
