Green Door by Lyn Graham

Green Door is part of my Street Level series, inspired by Brisbane’s West End, the suburb I was born in and have lived in and loved for decades.

My small Street Level paintings focus on West End’s gritty character – the doorways, alleys, graffiti and stairs we walk past every day. Over the 18 months of this project, I was struck by just how quickly our urban landscape changes as shops, cafes and bars come and go and graffiti is overpainted.

Street Level was exhibited as part of the West End: Street to Sky exhibition in November 2025 at Vacant Assembly, West End.

This painting comes in a natural timber float frame.
