Gum Nut Alley II by Wendy Peters

How can you not love gum nuts, such an iconic Australian tree and so many different varieties, an endless source of inspiration and a joy to paint, large scale they look even more spectacular, the blue grey leaves with those bright red blooms make the artwork come alive. Finding these on my daily dog walks inspired me to create this painting. It would look fabulous in a classic or contemporary setting as a standout conversation piece. Unframed ready to hang.
