Additional Information

Halo – This pelican posed for me at sunset at the Mambo wetlands in Port Stephens. I love the sunset colours shining through the translucent beak and the halo effect around the head. To me they are graceful creatures, particularly when swimming, they seem to glide with perfect balance. I also love to see them flying, they can soar thousands of feet in the air, hovering on the warm currents. The pelican’s aboriginal name is nerimba.

This image is printed on archival canvas, guaranteed against fading for one hundred years. Box Framed in Tasmanian Oak. Personally signed and editioned on the reverse.
