“I am a big advocator of manifesting your life. My daughter had the opportunity to work on Hayman Island on the Great Barrier Reef and I was fortunate enough to share a moment of her dream life with her on the island. “Hayman in Red” is an interpretation of a photo that my daughter took of me on Hayman Island. I chose reds to symbolise life force, energy and courage – things that this day was full of. I proudly submerged myself in the water after a day of adventure and fun.”

In this painting, Teresa uses colour and mark making to mimic a dreamlike sense of whimsy and timelessness to the piece, giving the feeling that the dreaming is manifesting into reality.
