I love the wetlands — the water, the plants and the birds.
My Habitats > Wetlands series of paintings is inspired by the wetlands of the Pumicestone Passage, part of the Moreton Bay Marine Park about an hour north of Brisbane.
The Habitats > Wetlands series paintings are watercolours on full sheets of cotton paper. This one is is Heron 2. The White-faced Heron is my favourite bird. I love its harsh cry and its poise as it stealthily moves around the wetlands.
